I’m a huge fan of horror movies, and I’ve seen my fair share of gore. But nothing could have prepared me for Braindead. This movie is so over-the-top, it’s almost like a parody of itself. But that’s what makes it so great. It’s so ridiculous, it’s impossible to take it seriously.

The story follows Lionel, a young man who is bitten by a Sumatran rat monkey. As a result, he develops a deadly virus that turns him into a flesh-eating zombie. The movie is full of graphic violence and gore, but it’s also really funny. I laughed so hard, I cried.
