Why East Side Story Vol 5 is Necessary
As a lifelong fan of the East Side Story franchise, I was thrilled to hear that a fifth installment was in the works. I’ve been following the series since the first movie came out in 1961, and I’ve always been impressed by the way it tells the story of the Sharks and the Jets, two rival street gangs in New York City. The movies have always been able to capture the excitement and danger of the streets, while also providing a nuanced look at the social issues that divide the two gangs.
