I’m a huge fan of romantic comedies, so I was excited to check out My Lovey-Dovey Wife is a Stone Cold Killer Vol. 1. And I was not disappointed! The story is hilarious, the characters are lovable, and the art is stunning. I especially loved the way the author subverted the traditional rom-com tropes. Instead of the heroine being a damsel in distress, she’s a badass assassin who can take care of herself. And instead of the hero being a perfect gentleman, he’s a bit of a slob who’s always getting into trouble. But despite their differences, they make a great couple. I laughed out loud so many times while reading this book, and I can’t wait to read the next volume.
